Our Work
We work to strengthen sustainable finance and corporate sustainability in Korea by expanding global initiatives, producing research and analysis, and contributing to policy discussions. Through these activities, KoSIF supports Korean companies and financial institutions in responding to global sustainability standards and accelerating their transition.

Clear policies and institutional frameworks are essential to integrating ESG into financial markets and corporate management. We conduct policy research and provide recommendations that strengthen the legal and institutional foundations for
sustainable finance and corporate ESG management in Korea.

CDP operates the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. As the secretariat of the CDP Korea Committee, we facilitate environmental data disclosure and promote greater transparency for Korean companies.

RE100 is a global initiative uniting influential companies committed to 100% renewable electricity. As a local campaign partner, we support Korean companies in setting and achieving their renewable energy commitments.

EV100 is a global initiative for companies committed to accelerating the transition to electric vehicles. As a local campaign partner, we guide Korean companies in electrifying their corporate fleets and advancing sustainable transport.

CoREi is a Korea-based initiative dedicated to the corporate transition to renewable energy. As a co-founder, we work with Korean companies to address procurement barriers and improve the market environment for renewable energy.

EnergyTag is a global initiative that advances more granular and credible renewable electricity accounting. As EnergyTag’s Korea partner, KoSIF supports Korean companies in understanding emerging electricity tracking standards and strengthening the credibility of renewable energy procurement.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions to set ambitious emissions reduction and net-zero targets in line with climate science. As SBTi’s Korea partner, we support Korean companies and financial institutions in setting, implementing, and validating science-based targets.

PCAF provides the Global GHG Accounting and Reporting Standard for the Financial Industry, helping financial institutions measure and disclose greenhouse gas emissions associated with their financial activities. As PCAF’s Korea partner, we support Korean financial institutions in strengthening their emissions accounting and disclosure capacity.
