Corporate Renewable Energy Initiative
The Corporate Renewable Energy Initiative (CoREi) is a Korea-based initiative launched in 2020 by
Korea Sustainability Investing Forum (KoSIF), United Nations Global Compact Network Korea, and WWF-Korea
to accelerate the corporate transition to renewable energy.
CoREi works to build corporate momentum for the renewable energy transition in Korea through direct
engagement, workshops, and practical guidance. It also aims to create a more enabling policy environment for
companies seeking to procure renewable energy.
Through these activities, CoREi supports companies in setting and implementing renewable energy-related goals, while creating an ambition loop between policymakers and the private sector to accelerate the energy transition in Korea.
